Static Residential Network

Brightdata (Luminati) offers an exceptional service. You actually get exceptional value on what are essential static residential IPs. These are a lot harder to detect and you can use them on a lot more services that many other types of proxies.

This is a premium service and you should only be using these proxies on the most important parts of your business that need a proxy.

These proxies work with HTTP/S as well as SOCKS4/5. You can put it in most proxy formats and it should work with all programs that can use these types of proxies.

As proxy detection gets better, it is becoming more important for you to use proxies that are hard to trace and the best ones so far are residential proxies.

These essentially have the look of a regular Joe browsing the internet instead of an IP that comes from a datacenter. This makes it harder to detect and there are certain services that require residential IPs.

As such, the need for them outweighs the cost. Let’s go through and see how they performed in our in-depth review.

If you want to know their Rotating Residential proxies performance, read our review to Brightdata Residential (rotating) IP proxies.

Comparing static(Dedicated) and rotating residential proxies

There is a huge difference between static and rotating residential proxies. Static residential proxies never change. This can be a problem if you are doing heavy Botting work and your proxies burn out.

For static proxies, which not suitable for “SEO Bots, Scraping…”, For the rotating proxies, It much good for “SEO Bots, Scraping…”! Because of those type of projects needs lots of IPs to avoid the IP ban.

Read more, Guide to Brightdata (Luminati) Rotating Proxies.

Static IPs that the best good social marketing, then you can allocate a fixed IP to designation account to avoid the account banned for IP rotating, So it’s Good for social/IG bot, such as jarvee.com.

Because of this, Brightdata (Luminati) static residential proxies work best when it comes to things that you need to have your IP address remain the same. If you are doing work where your IP needs to change, then rotating proxies are best. If you are doing things that require your IP stay the same then you will love Luminati static residential proxies.

Ping Test & Proxy Speed Test

I was able to test 5 Static IP Proxies and unfortunately, it was too expensive to test more. However, I learned a lot from my limited testing and you will find that I’m the only person who has actually bothered to test these static residential proxies.

Why this time I only tested 5 IP proxies? Compare to other review?

When we tested their static proxy to fast.com that take more bandwidth consumed, It’s the same as downloading. One proxy approximately takes 1.5GB. In a few minutes, my $100 is exhausted.

Testing the speed of these proxies

The budget for this was quite limited and as such, I was only able to test a few proxies. From the chart below I was able to get a consistent result. The speed didn’t vary too much and the response rate was less than 1 second for all the proxies tested. You won’t have to worry too much about lag.

You can also look in more detail and see the other tests I did. They are below. I was able to test each proxy and give you the results individually. I was quite impressed and will be using these proxies for important things such as Instagram, Facebook and social media sites where good proxies matter.

I was only able to test IPs in the United States. However, this should not deter you from signing up to Brightdata (Luminati). I found that the IPs that I was able to test are solid.

These will get you the results you want and keep you anonymous on the internet. In terms of availability, there are only 10 countries available but that should not deter you. These are the most popular countries and it should be enough for most tasks.

IP address compatibility Test

Here is the table showcasing the results of my tests. I was able to test these proxies on popular social media sites as well as common services and websites like Netflix and Craigslist.

These proxies have been working well and unfortunately, I was not able to test more proxies because of the cost.

These proxies are expensive and you should be using them for the most important parts of your business. They are reliable and fast and will get the job done. The downside is the huge expense.

Our Editor’s Verdict

From my experience, I can say that this is a great service if you are willing to pay the price. These are true static residential proxies which can be hard to find.

On top of that, they are fast as you can see from my tests. My advice is to use these proxies for important tasks. Things like social media marketing and browsing sites that are good at detecting proxies.

They are static so you can keep the same IP for the same task at hand. Luminati static residential proxies are ready for prime time and you should sign up.
