Proxy types, Features, and Pricing

Proxyline Proxy Types

Proxyline doesn’t have tons of proxy types, so this section will be short. Your first choice is to decide if you want to get IPv4 or IPv6 IP addresses, so let’s look at both to see what this provider offers.

In the IPv4 corner you can choose the type of proxy you’ll want and the choice is between shared and dedicated one, with the second being a bit more expensive, which is to be expected. The share IP addresses may be used by up to 3 users at the same time, while the dedicated ones are yours for a long as your subscription is active. As for the actual packages, you have a lot of flexibility to customize one that will fit your needs.

For the number of IP addresses, you can get as little as 1 proxy and take it all the way up to 2,000 for both the shared and dedicated proxies. Another flexible side of this pricing structure is the duration of the package. The smallest package you can get is 5 days and scale it up to 360. Going for the longer packages means you’re looking at a discount, but it only applies for the duration. The price per IP doesn’t change with the number of proxies you decide to buy.

duration of 5 to 360 days

You also have a list of countries to choose from, but there’s a difference between the two types of IPv4 addresses. For the shared ones, the list consists of 21 countries, while for the dedicated ones you have the whole list to choose from. Speaking of countries, if you want IP addresses from multiple locations, you’ll need to purchase multiple packages.

A nice feature Proxyline offers with the IPv4 proxies is the option to choose the IP addresses manually. There’s a list for the shared and dedicated proxies containing the first two octets, allowing you fine tune your package to match your needs.

choose the IP addresses manually

The second type of proxies you can get from Proxyline are the IPv6 ones. The pricing structure for these is identical to the IPv4 IP addresses meaning you can get anywhere from 1 to 2,000 proxies for a duration of 5 to 360 days. Like before, going for the longer package will give you a bigger discount, regardless of how many IP addresses you get.

Unlike the IPv4 proxies, with the IPv6 ones you are a bit more limited. The location list allows you to choose between USA and Russia IP addresses and you cannot select proxies manually. On a positive note, they are much more affordable.

Proxyline Location

The best thing about Proxyline is that the base set of features doesn’t change depending on the package you get. All proxies come with unlimited bandwidth and support HTTP/SOCKS5 protocols.

A slight downside is that Proxyline doesn’t offer a free trial and to be fair it’s not a massive one. Most of these affordable providers don’t have this feature. With that said, the proxies are cheap enough to get 1 IP address and test it for 5 days. In addition to that, there’s a 48-hour refund policy if any of the proxies or service don’t perform as advertised.

Features

While most proxy provider like to brag about what they offer, looking at the set of features usually gives us a rough idea about the product and if has potential to be good. Let’s see what Proxyline has to offer and if the set of features tick all the right boxes.

To be fair, these aren’t the same as the ones you’ll get when you buy a package, but for some light use-cases they may get the job done. The performance and anonymity won’t be as good, so keep that in mind. They could be a good option for general testing or similar tasks.

High Speeds

Some proxies are notorious for poor performance or inconsistent one, something that Proxyline manages to solve. The proxies are advertised to be able to deliver speeds of up to 100 Mbps, which is pretty good and will cover any kind of use case that this provider promises.

IPv4 and IPv6

Most proxy providers these days are focusing primarily on IPv4 proxies, which is the golden standard. In recent history, IPv6 was created to solve the problem of not having enough IPv4 IP addresses and that trend has slowly passed on to the proxy world. Some users need IPv6 proxies and Proxyline has them on offer, which is a great advantage over some of its rivals.
